SnowBall Run 2012
We had to pull the pin on the 2011 SnowBall Run due to the shocking weather (and a nifty Tornado) and also the issues with the economic climate meaning that people just didn’t have the money to pump into a massive two day event.
2012 is not going to be much better..... We have decided not to run it again this year due to the costs involved with it being a massive two day event we feel the current economic climate has not bounced back enough yet.
We are currently channelling all our time and effort into the 2013 CannonBall Run, last year was a monster event with close to 1000 competitors…… 2013 is the year we blow that out of the water…… It’s going to be a big one.
Keep tuned in for more details….. Here's some photos from 2010 SnowBall to get you excited....

The CannonBall Run 2012

07 / 01 / 2012
2012 was awesome, we had our biggest turnout yet with close to 1000 competitors on the day.

The Heroes and Villains theme went down a treat with some competitors thinking so far out of the box that they will need to go see a shrink to come back from the brink of insanity….
...You know who you are…

Hampton Downs was a great way to relax and cut lose in the afternoon even though it completely bucketed down the whole time we were there everyone keep saying how much fun it was blasting around the track and doing some skids and drifting on the skid pad.
We did lose a car at Hamptons, the lime green 1969 Mustang Fastback who is a regular at AMS events aquaplaned into a few barriers a looked a little worse for wear after it… After talking to the owner he is hoping to have it fixed and ready to go for next year, we hope it is…. Check the Photos section of this site for some photos of it.
I must say a “Big Up’s” to the three guys who turned up at Hamptons on their motorbikes and looked like they had just jumped out of a pool…. Good stuff guys for powering on.

Our afterpartys are well known for being in pretty cool locations but in 2012 we completely went leftfield on everyone and had a massive themed Horror dinner at Spookers in Kingseat.
We pretty much took over the main complex with our massive themed party and had our prizegiving there as well. Afterwards “The Pack” descended into the Spookers house to get the bejeebers scared out of them….. It was awesome.

The CannonBall Run 2011
The CannonBall Run 2011 was our biggest event yet, with over 175 cars and over 600 competitors it was a laugh a minute.
We did everything from horsing around with the police, invading a pirate ship and tearing up a rugby field to Giving away a free Helicopter ride (which also helped us film the event from the air) and taking over a golf course for our massive afterparty.
I could sit here and write out 500 pages of awesome craziness but like they say a picture is worth a thousand words (or in this case 500 pages worth) so below is a teaser video for our DVD and also a monster photo collection of the day.
A big congratulations to Mike and Neen in their Holden Calais for taking out the big prize….. Also known as the Channel 4 News Team on the day.

The CannonBall Run 2010
The CannonBall Run 2010 was our first major event, with around 130 cars. The event was pretty basic back then all we had for mission packs was a collection of flyers nothing like the big books and packs competitors get now. We still had an amazing collection of cars including a Ferrari and a brand new Corvette plus a tonne of HotRods and Japanese performance cars. The team from GVI Cars bought down a brand new Lexus that was a crowd favourite and the guys from Performance Car Mag where in a rocking Demon Energy Truck with 22 inch rims.
A big "High Five" to the guys in Car 53 for taking out the competition in their custom Toyota V8 powered HotRod.
Track Sessions 2012
Track Sessions 2011 was a tester to see how you guys would make the transfer from Street based events to Track based events. We heard nothing but good things from the 100 or more competitors that turned up.
Our style of event management has always been very controlled, with every little detail looked at and assessed. So when we turned our attention to mixed motorsport and made sure that no matter what style of events your into and no matter if your all about the points or just cutting loose and having some fun we had you covered.
We will be making the Track Sessions event a regular on our list of events but due to Cannonball sucking up 6 months a year to plan we will need to hold fire until more time and money can be freed up.
Stay Tuned….
